I used this guide book when I visited San Francisco, Sonoma and Healdsburg. I used it along with the Mobil San Francisco city guide book. They both had a lot of helpful information but I would recommend getting just the San Francisco guide if you're only going to San Fran since it has everything from shopping, nightclubs, restaurants, hotels, spas and more in it. This book mostly give information on what to see there, hotels, spas and restaurants. But, if you're planning on going to surrounding cities and towns, get both books. This book helped me plan out where to go outside of San Fran and I chose Sonoma and Healdsburg. It's definitely good if you're visiting wine country.
